The NFL Defensive Player of the Year may not be the most talked about award, but it is still a major honor for what voters consider to be the best defensive player across the league for a given season, regardless of their defensive position.
This year, the oddsmakers see Dallas Cowboys’ superstar Micah Parsons winning the award, beating out the likes of Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt.
Watt, who should have won the award last season when he lead the NFL in total sacks for a third straight year. However, Watt finished in the top-three of voting for the award for the third-straight season instead.
Could this be the year that Watt finally gets his roses?
