Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears is listed as questionable due to an ankle injury he suffered during Week 2’s loss to the New York Jets but is expected to play, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Spears sat out the first practice in preparation for Week 3 on Wednesday and then was upgraded to limited participation on Thursday. Spears would end the week as a full participant in practice on Friday.
While the Titans haven’t officially made a public decision on Spears’ playing status, all signs point to Spears playing as the Titans take on the Green Bay Packers who will be starting former Titans’ draft pick Malik Willis under center.
Spears will assume his backup role behind starter Tony Pollard.
