San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey could have a chance at making a return to the field in the near future as he continues to recover from Achilles tendonitis, according to NDL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
McCaffery remains in IR and there is no clear timetable for his return at the this time, but the report says that the expectation is the McCaffrey could be back by early November, whihc would be a big boost for the Niners for their stretch run.
For now, the 49ers will continue to lean on Jordan Mason to lead their rushing attack with McCaffrey still on the sidelines.
