Houston Texans’ running back Joe Mixon is not expected to play as the Texans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Mixon was listed as questionable heading into the game, due to an ankle injury, but is will not be playing which will see veteran journeyman running back Cam Akers take his place in the starting lineup against Jacksonville.
Mixon has played in 2 games this season, his first in Houston, and has rushed for 184 yards and 1 touchdown.
