The Indianapolis Colts will again turn to veteran quarterback Joe Flacco to step into the starting role with starter Anthony Richardson still ruled out as the Colts take on the Tennessee Titans, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Richardson has been ruled out due to an oblique injury, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, and in his absence Flacco has been stellar as last week he completed 33 of 44 attempts for 359 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Colts will have a tough sled has running back Jonathan Taylor is also out, leaving them with Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson to carry to load.
Flacco, 39, has had great chemistry with receiver Joshua Downs, who is listed as questionable but expected to play.
