Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb, who suffered a season ending knee injury last season, is expected to be activated from the PUP list and make his season debut against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7, according to ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi.
Chubb had his 21-day practice window opened back on October 2nd but the Browns have opted not to add him to the official 53-mad roster to this point and have officially ruled him out for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Chubb did participate in some limited practices this week and is on pace to return to action in Week 7, marking the first time he has been able to play since he tore the ACL, MCL and meniscus in his left knee during Week 3 last season.
While he is trending to return, the Browns will likely ease Chubb back into his normal lead back role moving forward.
